Abstract:The multilayer groundwater monitoring can greatly reduce the cost of groundwater monitoring. The well pipe is a whole pipe made of HDPE material with several channels by extrusion, monitoring windows are processed at special position on each channel for corresponding groundwater monitoring layers and the rational thickness of gravel fill for sealing is designed. Based on the characteristics of multilayer groundwater monitoring well, new sealing material is developed. By the use of this groundwater monitoring technology, the demonstration projects of groundwater monitoring are successively set in Beijing, Tianjin and Gansu. By this new technology, construction area can be saved and drilling work reduced ompared with conventional technology; and compared with foreign technology, it has wider application scope with lower cost.

Abstract:With the characteristics of rapid drilling and environmental protection, air reverse circulation drilling is an important technical method for geological prospecting. Based on the shallow sampling tests, the paper discusses the selection basis of construction equipments and drilling parameters, presents the key technical measures and lists the common problems in drilling operation. The resolving methods are put forward and the technology characteristics are summarized.

Abstract:Because of the complex formation structure in oil shale mine, collapsing, block falling, diameter shrinkage and loss of drilling fluid often occur in the drilling operation, which make difficulties in core sampling with bit burying, sticking and burning. By the comprehensive analysis and experiments, the drilling fluid compound method with good inhabitation is selected for Yudaokou oil shale formation, the satisfied effects and ideal economic benefit are obtained, and a large amount of experimental data are collected to be technical reference for the drilling operation in similar mines.

Abstract:The gas drainage with boreholes is the most direct and effective means for gas control. According to the principle of directional drilling technology in coal mine underground, an effective drilling technology applicable to medium hard coal seam is put forward to realize effective long directional drilling by combining compound drilling technology and directional drilling technology in coal mine underground. The field test proves that this method can make the borehole wall smooth, prevent pump suffocation and sticking, reduce the accident processing time and improve the successful drilling rate and drilling efficiency. By the application of this technology, average ROP increases by 26.8% compared with the conventional directional drilling.

Abstract:The terminal diameter and depth are 1200mm and 423.66m respectively in 4# gas drainage borehole of Tashan coal mine of Datong Coalmine Group Company with displacement less than 2m. The main difficult points in this project are large borehole diameter, deep drilling and high precisiom. Multi-process of pneumatic DTH hammer, double-wall drill pipe air lift reverse circulation and combined cone multilevel reaming were adopted to improve drilling efficiency, ensure wellbore quality, and achieve good economic and social benefits.

Abstract:In order to improve the drilling depth and the permeability of soft and low permeability coal seams, a new technique including underground casing-while-drilling and horizontal hydraulic fracturing is proposed. The paper discusses the feasibility and execution steps of this technology based on the borehole design and stress analysis. It is possible that this technique becomes a new technology to solve the gas drainage difficulties in soft and low permeability coal seams.

Abstract:Expandable convoluted tube technology is based on a special process on round tubing to make the tubing deformed so as to it can smoothly reach the trouble formation through the borehole; then by hydraulic expansion recovery, workover and cementing are realized. This technology has been used in petroleum engineering a lot after its many years’ development, but due to the confinement of the diameter and technology, it has not been applied in geological prospecting with smaller diameter. This paper presents the study that is mainly based on φ75mm small diameter quincuncial shape expandable convoluted tube being made of KP02 seamless steel tube, expansive transformation parameters are obtained by simulation with ANSYS finite element software and indoor experiments, and the contrast and analysis are made on the expanding process.

Abstract:In order to meet the high quality, high efficiency and high speed in hydrological well construction, the SPT-1500 trailer-rig is designed, which is a rotary rig with direct and reverse circulation, mainly consists of the trailer frame, power systems, drill, rotary table, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, derrick and drilling system, etc. The test and application show that SPT-1500 trailer-rig has advantages of simple structure, easy installation, rapid transition and steady performance; it has drilling capability to deal with the hydrological well of 1500m in depth and can meet the requirements of various stratum drilling.

Abstract:Directive rotary steerable drilling system reprensents the most advanced technology in the world and it has been widely used in the horizontal well and controlled directional well. Abstract:According to the difficulties in hard-compact-slipping formation drilling, a new type self-sharpening diamond bit is introduced about its design and the effects of indoor and outdoor tests. The indoor micro-drilling experiments and the field drilling tests show that comparing with ordinary diamond bit, this new self-sharpening one can improve ROP 1-3 times with relatively high bit service life and it is an effective rock breaking tool for hard-compact-slipping formation drilling.

Abstract:The paper introduces the blasting types, characteristics and fracturing mechanism in seasonal frozen soil. By the study on blastin technology of spherical charge beneath frozen ground in Baoxinggou mining area of Heilongjiang, the construction difficulties in exploration ditch of frozen ground are successfully solved. The practice shows that blasting flyrock can be effectively controlled by rational blasting parameters and economic and technical indexes selected on basis of the actual situation of the local climate and soil to lower the construction cost and improve the construction efficiency. The paper presents the technical parameters and parameter indexes which can be reference to the similar exploration ditch blasting construction.

Abstract:According to the vault collapse near tunnel face occurred at the section DgK88 520~522 of a high-speed railway tunnel, the analysis is made on the collapse causes in site geological conditions and designed supporting parameters, and the comparative analysis is also made by numerical simulation on the exploration design and surrounding rock deformation caused by excavating and supporting measures. The result showed that the design, which was based on Ⅲa surrounding rock by original survey, of excavation method and support parameters couldn't guarantee the tunnel stability under the actual surrounding rock conditions, while with the design of 3-step and 7-process excavating method and composite lining support for Ⅴb surrounding rock, crown settlement was drastically reduced. The paper introduces the dealing method for collapse and the monitoring result of crown settlement. Due to the brittleness of surrounding rock, the crown settlement is light after collapsing. To ensure the safety of the construction project, geological occurrence conditions of tunnel surrounding rock should be grasped more accurately based on the geological survey and geological forecast to decide reasonable excavation method and support parameters.

Abstract:Multiple joints such as fault F13 developed in K1 350~400 of a diversion tunnel of hydropower station in the southwest, which was deep-buried with high crustal stress and complex geological conditions. Using three-dimensional discrete element software 3DEC, the numerical simulation on the diversion tunnel is conducted combining with field monitoring data to analyze the stability of surrounding rock. The results show that the stability of surrounding rock is mainly controlled by the structural plane. There are many fall-blocks at the lower right spandrel with larger displacement. After being supported, the surrounding rock stability of the diversion tunnel is strengthened.
