Abstract:The existing diameter series for wire-line coring are mainly suitable for shallow drilling with a depth of less than 3000 m. There is technical bottleneck such as that the designed depth cannot be reached in complex formation, when the wire-line coring is performed at a depth of about 4000 m. The demonstration on reasonable diameter series and drill pipe scheme for wire-line coring in ultra-deep borehole at the depth between 3000 m and 5000 m is an important preliminary work which can provide technical base for the development of ultra-deep borehole drilling equipment and drilling tools for wire-line coring. And it is also a public welfare and open technical work. This paper summarizes the preliminary ideas on diameter series and drill pipe scheme for wire-line coring in ultra-deep borehole with the expectation that it could receive wide participation and further demonstration from the drilling experts and technicians in China.

Abstract:In the ground drilling construction for gas extraction in Huainan mining area, optional selection was made on construction equipment, drilling program, pipe lowering and cementing, vertical drilling technology and drilling well structure for conventional vertical well drilling and completion technology. China-made PDC digging bit and long well segment digging bit technologies are used to improve ground drilling stability and the gas extraction efficiency. By the production practice, the paper describes the characteristics of this combined well drilling and completion technology.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of waste drilling fluids of Tenchong scientific drilling project in Yunnan, the technology route of first flocculation and gel breaking then consolidation was determined, the optimal formula of flocculation and gel breaking pretreatment and solidification were screened out. The experimental results show that the solidification effects are good, the pollutnats contant in the separated waste water after flocculation sedimentation and leaching solution of cured resin meet the 1st grade integrated wasterwater discharge standared.

Abstract:The mathematical model of “pile effect” was built in the process of gas hydrate sampling coring and the implicit analytical solution for the sample height is presented by analytical analysis. The influences of the sampling tube diameter and the friction coefficient between the sample and the sampling tube were analyzed. Parametric analysis shows that the inherent friction angle and cohesion of the target layer have great influence on the sample height. The sampling depth in the target layer has unapparent influence on the sampling rate.

Abstract:Combustible ice land drilling is just starting in China, which is the same with core drilling in some ways and also has its own unique features. Through engineering case, the paper introduces the requirements of combustible ice land drilling technology and technical issues of derrick foundation construction in permafrost region, combustible ice sampling drilling and the preparation, maintenance and the use of low temperature mud. The development requirements of combustible ice drilling and sampling in the future are expounded.

Abstract:Owing to the limitation of the surrounding environment on ocean engineering drilling, seawater is often used in drilling fluids preparation. The fluid properties are destroyed by salt in seawater as well as Ca2 and Mg2 ions in the impurities, through the selection of different mud materials and mixture ratios, the drilling fluid suitable for offshore drilling were obtained with the practice tests, the material selection and specific preparation for offshore drilling mud were effectively solved.

Abstract:Widely developed Cretaceous red sandstone and argillaceous sandstone outcropped in Jurong of Jiangsu, which were shallowly buried in unconsolidated layers under very poor geological conditions. Because of the shortage of groundwater, most drilling encountered dry holes. Only by simple drilling, the initial output of the geothermal well in Jurong was about 2~3m3/h. After the analysis on geological conditions of water-bearing, some new process theories of construction, well washing and pumping were put into application: deep water pump and “sand discharge by pulsation”, and sorting pumping horizon; water output was up to more than 500m3/day. The success in this well has practice value with reference significance to the water research in water-lacking layer and well-flushing in clastic rocks.

Abstract:According to drilling encountered boulder in deep sand gravel stratum in Yarlung Zangbo River Leng-da hydropower station, a scalable two-wing reaming bit was used to solve pipe blocking. By enlarging a hole in the boulder under the casing, the hole diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the casing pipe to ensure the casing going down to the planned depth. This method can not only avoid the danger and complexity of hole blasting shattering boulder but also can overcome casing wear, broken and high cost caused by high torque of casing bit drilling for casing following. This process is easy to master with no limitation of hole depth and can be popularized in pipe-following ream drilling, even in hole accidents treatment.

Abstract:By the comparative analysis on the common fishing technologies of matching tools for directional drilling, the feasibility and practicability of sleeve fishing technology are made clear for handling the hole accidents in nearly horizontal directional drilling. According to the requirements of the construction technology and based on the specific parameters of the drilling tools in nearly horizontal directional drilling, the sleeve fishing rod for directional drilling is developed, which can match the rig with rated torque 6000N·m. The successful application in Chengzhuang coalmine proved the feasibility of sleeve fishing technology which can satisfy the application requirement with the rational structure.

Abstract:The loading chamber of main shaft skip was damaged seriously in Majialiang coalmine and the supporting strength was insufficient. By the analysis on the damage reasons, new reinforced scheme of large diameter pre-stressed grouting cable anchor was proposed and the paper introduces the key points of the design and construction technology. The numerical simulations and the industrial test showed that the scheme can meet the requirements of the force and deformation of the loading chamber, the cable force is reasonable, the roof and 2 sides of displacement are effectively controlled with good reinforcing effect.
