Abstract:In the deep prospecting drilling construction of Xiaoqinling gold field, SYZX wire-line coring hydro-hammer was adopted to prevent deep drilling inclination, which can improve footage per run and efficiency per hour, and prolong service life of bit in hard brittle formation. Abstract:Aimed to the complex strata of Pulang copper mining area of Shangri-La, and by the experimental date and theoretical analysis, the solid-free polymer drilling fluid consisting of host agent (vegetable-gum) and assistant agents(PAM & LP) was fixed, which was applied in the wire-line drilling construction for ZK0409, the drilling difficulties in complex strata of Pulang copper mining area of Shangri-La were vercome. The paper discussed the optimum formula of the solid-free polymer drilling fluid and analyzed its action mechanism in complex strata.

Abstract:The treatment technologies of waste drilling fluid in drilling engineering both in China and abroad were introduced. The hazard and influence to environment by waste drilling fluid was studied. The treatment technologies and methods such as the in-pit landfill, solid-liquid separation, solidification and recycling use were discussed. Some suggestions were put forward, such as developing new environmental protection drilling fluid and additive, strengthening the solid control, reducing the discharge of waste drilling fluid and comprehensively developing new technology like microbial method. All the above can be the reference to environmental protection in other similar areas.

Abstract:Considering the change of cement sheath elastic modulus on casing strength, whether is helpful or not, by the elastic mechanics mathematical method, the effect of cement sheath elastic modulus on casing external collapse load was researched on the conditions of uniform in-situ stress on different properties in formation. The study shows that in a formation with soft lithology, the cement sheath shall have higher stiffness to help casing withstand a part of load; while in a formation with hard lithology, the stiffness of the cement sheath shall be reduced in order to protect casing. The ideal property of concrete sheath should be of high strength and low stiffness. The high strength of concrete sheath could resist higher loads of formation stress. At the same time, the low stiffness of that could reduce the transfer coefficient of stress greatly. Increasing the thickness of the cement sheath is not always reducing the stress of the casing. When the elastic modulus of cement sheath achieves some value, increasing the thickness of cement sheath could decrease the casing stress. From this point, the property of cement slurry shall be adjusted according to formation conditions in the process of cementing to reduce casing load and achieve the best cementation.

Abstract:Solid phase control is important to the maintenance of drilling fluid properties. Through the laser particle size measurement of the rock powder from diamond drilling of hole No.3 (WFSD-3)in Wenchuan earthquake fault zone scientific drilling, this paper analyzes the rock powder particle size distribution to provide the basis for the scientific design of geological core drilling solid control equipment and reasonable configuration of geological core drilling solid control system, and ultimately achieve the aims that the content of harmful solid in drilling fluid is effectively controlled to stabilize the drilling fluid performance.

Abstract:Drilling is a direct and important method of gaining the underground information in the water resources and hydropower engineering exploration, and the quality of drilling is very important for the water resources engineering's investment and safety. The wire-line coring drilling is a key technology in improving drilling quality, which is widely used in land resources, metallurgy and coal. But there are some problems in water pressure test, unsuitable specification of wire-line coring drilling tools and the flushing fluid limitation. By the analysis and study on the above problems, the solution was put forward and good effects were received. By the designed method of water pressure test with no-hoisting drill, the combination of water pressure test and wire-line coring drilling solved the technical difficulties in wire-line coring drilling to adapt water conservancy and hydropower exploration.

Abstract:Spiral shaft lining appeared in some wells since the drilling speed improving in Hailer oilfield, log interpretation was affected in 151 wells, 15.60% of the all. This was especially obvious in Wudong block; there were 36 obvious spiral wells, 28.8% of all wells there. The paper discussed the causes of spiral well formation from the view of geology and engineering, and put forward the solution and technical measures. The tests in the second half year of 2012 showed good effects.

Abstract:In the operation of casing cementing and hole cement sealing of drilling construction, the cement pollution to drilling fluid is inevitable, which will change the property of the drilling fluid to affect the drilling requirement. According to this problem, by the hydration mechanism of cement and based on the theory of electric double layer produced by clay particle dispersion, the paper analyzed the causes of cement pollution to drilling fluid and put forward a set of effective solution.

Abstract:Optimization design of wellbore trajectory is one of the most effective way for long horizontal-section horizontal well to reduce the friction and torque. Using advanced computer software, the key parameters of wellbore trajectory can be optimized, which can decrease the construction difficulty. Based on a project case in North China oilfield, the design method of long horizontal-section wellbore trajectory is introduced.

Abstract:Well Hasheng-X1 is an important risk wildcat in Shengli oilfield, which is a directional well with double targets with high deviation angle, long steady inclined section and large horizontal displacement. As a risk wildcat, there is less drilling data of adjacent wells and there are uncertain factors of formation lithology, formation pressure and layer section variety. It is an important basis to ensure smooth construction to determine reasonable casing program, optimized trajectory, good mud performance parameters and other relevant technical measures. Based on the detail analysis on the very few information, the optimized schemes and technical measures were proposed in well trajectory design, casing program design, bottom hole assembly & drilling method selection, drilling fluid design and cementing design; these above could be the technical support and theoretical basis to the design of the risk wildcat in Shengli oilfield.

Abstract:With the exploration region expanding, the main problems facing to leakage plugging in Shaanxi and Gansu work areas are the complexity and uncertainty of the geological conditions. Simple, convenient and intuitive real-time monitoring on the leakage layer; in-time evaluation to formation pressure, strength and leakage possibility and the implementation of simple and effective plugging measures have become the key to solve these difficult problems. The bridging mud technology widely used at present can not completely meet the requirements of leakage plugging and reservoir protection. Analysis was made on the drilling leakage causes in Shaanxi and Gansu work areas with the technical measures of lost circulation control.

Abstract:According to the technical requirements to current geological core drilling mud, discussion was made on the mud expert system design method to satisfy the field application. The mud formula derivation model is established on the basis of stratigraphic classification and the engineering examples; formation information database, the formula example database and material information database, etc. are especially constructed for this system. Abstract:Expandable liner hanger is an emerging liner hanger developed on the basis of expandable tubular technology, which can compensate the disadvantages of conventional liner hanger and reduce the cost. This paper introduces the principle of expandable liner hanger and analyzes the working mechanism of metal rings in liner hanger by indoor experiment. The suspension force provided by metal rings with different structure parameters is simulated based on ansys ls-dyna nonlinear finite element software. The conclusion is proposed through comparing data obtained from indoor experiment and simulation.

Abstract:The lower part of a key project of oil tank area is backfilled by overburden from open pit mining for more than 30 years with different level of gas discharging, heat generating and self-ignition. Treatment should be done to the deep sealed fire zone of the oil tank area to ensure the safety of the upper proposed oil tank. Analysis is made on the advantages and disadvantages of grouting methods; by the comparison of different schemes, compaction grouting with water, fly ash and paralysant was adopted with good effect. Abstract:The local geological conditions are strong weathered, strong unloading anti-dip thin layer-middle-thick layer sand slate with joints and fractures developing, broken surrounding rocks, open fissures and serious loose unloading in road slope excavation at Lianghekou hydropower station.
