Abstract:This paper introduced the main achievements of “key technology and equipment of 2000m core drilling” in the “863” project: integration of drilling equipment and core drilling apparatus has been completed to form the ability of deep core drilling construction and demonstration; the specific project of crisis mine ZK43-1 construction in Jinqingding mine was finished with good borehole quality of termination depth 2212.80m, average drilling efficiency 1.65m/h and core recovery 98.6%; in this borehole construction, 3 pieces of record of depth in drilling and casing in China were created; and some experiences were accumulated in large project operating mechanism, industry-university-research cooperation mode and drilling technology demonstration mode.

Abstract:Sonic drilling technology is a newly developed drilling technique. High frequency vibration generated by the sonic head is mainly used to produce the resonance of the drilling string system and the liquefaction of soil layers, then fast drilling and geotechnical sampling of high quality are realized. The structure design, main technical parameters, the features and sampling test of the YSZ-50 sonic drilling rig are introduced in this paper.

Abstract:Expandable tubular technology presents a new and unique challenge to the drilling industry, which can solve the problem of diameter shrinkage in well cementation and reduce the construction cost with good environmental protection effect and good future prospect in geological exploration. Experiments of expansion force were made based on the theoretical formula. By the comparison between experimental data and theoretical results, reasonable theoretical formula was chosen; the feasibility of expandable tubular using in geological exploration was analyzed; the expansion friction was reduced by lubrication measures to lower the expansion force and the lubrication effect were analyzed in theory.

Abstract:With the rapid development of drilling equipment for water supply troops in recent years, the automation and construction efficiency are greatly improved, so the original mud preparation equipment and the process with long preparation period should be improved. According to the water well construction characteristics in northwest, loess block features and the practical situation of construction, a new rapid mud-making machine was developed. The paper introduced the machine about its working principle, structure characteristics and the good effects in application.

Abstract:WFSD-2 hole of scientific drilling engineering of Wenchuan earthquake fault zone has high quality requirement, and the hole deviation and coring rate are especially important. But the granite, granodionite and metavolcanic rocks in upper part (≤600m) are hard and compact with fracture development, many fracture surfaces and small faults; the big fault dip made deviation easily occur with core blockage. Because of complicated bore hole structure, the deviation was difficult to control by large diameter roller bit drilling. The satisfied effect was received by second opening(47.8~638.01m)construction:in 80~311.39m section, top angle/azimuth angle from 0.7°/202.9°to 5.8°/222.7°; then 5LZ120×7.0L-5 screw motor was used in 317.43~456.12m section, top angle/azimuth angle were corrected from 6.0° /228.3° to 0.9 °/103.7° . The paper summed up and analyzed the construction of deviation correction.

Abstract:During the core drilling operation in the iron mine project of Taliabu Island, Indonesia, the formations drilled were with the trait of hydrophilic expansion and collapse as mudstone, shale and clay rock; with the trait of hydrophilic dissolution as tuff and ash rock; with the trait of “slipping” as chloride quartzite, and with the trait of difficult coring as fine iron ore. Downhole accidents like jamming, sticking and so on easily happened. Through bold exploration, a set of specific core drilling procedures in this area was developed with good technical results. The paper introduced the core drilling technology for this project in detail.

Abstract:With the further development of oilfield exploration, there are more and more abandoned wells and shutdown wells. Casing cutting window sidetracking drilling technology is an effective way to realize tertiary and secondary oil recovery, by which old wells can be made full use and drilling cost can be reduced to improve economic benefit and can effectively perfected the development of well pattern. The paper introduced window cutting and the directional construction of a φ139.7mm casing cutting window sidetracking drilling for a horizontal well.

Abstract:Along with the development of drilling technology, more and more complex stratum situations are encountered in deep and ultra-deep well drilling, and the demand of drilling fluid performance becomes higher. By the theoretical analysis and contrast on preparation methods of saltwater drilling fluid, according to the field application with existed salt resistant materials and based on the analysis and the tests on influence mechanism of pre-hydration to drilling fluid properties and influence of pre-hydration time to drilling fluid properties, it showed that the pre-hydration is very important to the performance of drilling fluid. With the changes of hydration time, drilling fluid property produces different changing trends. The analysis provides practical guide and theoretical basis to preparation of different drilling fluids with different emphasis points.

Abstract:The deep and peripheral resource exploration in old mine has been much more urgent as the shallow available resource is less and less, now the tunnel exploration is a shortcut for deep resource exploration in old mine. According to the tunnel exploration drilling conditions of a gold mine in Taibai County, horizontal wire-line coring technology is adopted with rational selection of drilling rig, drilling tools and auxiliary equipments to finish the exploration work, which can be a reference for using horizontal wire-line coring technology in tunnel exploration drilling in China.

Abstract:This paper describes the application of SYZX75 wire-line coring hydro-hammer in hard and broken formation of Delenuoer iron deposit in Subei County of Gansu Province and summarizes the experience of inclined hole drilling construction with the drill. The practice showed that by using SYZX75 wire-line coring hydro-hammer, the round trip meterage and drilling efficiency were greatly enhanced, core blockage in broken formation was effectively overcame and core recovery was improved in broken formation; all these contributed to control the inclination in inclined hole drilling construction.

Abstract:The mud property is largely adjusted before the hole termination in coalfield drilling, the stability of hole wall was destructed by the changed mud property, which leads to fractured rock falling and logging tube blocking; and improper treatment would make the accident even more complicated. Abstract:Beijing metro Olympic branch is a part of Beijing rail transit network Line 8, the starting point is Xiongmaohuandao and the terminal station is designed at the south gate of planned Forest Park. The U-shape groove structure undercrossing Beichen Bridge is an important risk control point with subsurface excavation method, the engineering safety is extremely important. The ground traffic in Beichen Bridge area is very complicated, traditional tube well dewatering could not be applied and overall dewatering was made by radial wells. The paper introduced the radial well dewatering about the construction design, construction technology requirement and the dewatering effect.

Abstract:According to the engineering of curtain grouting for water control in Yuexing copper polymetallic deposit of Jiangxi, the paper described the selection of treatment methods and the treatment process, the grouting construction technology was studied and promoted; briefly introduced some common problems in construction process with countermeasures. Based on the restricting conditions such as engineering geological conditions, engineering properties and the budget, high-pressure hole with internal circulation grouting and downward stage grouting were selected. The grouting material were cement fly-ash and cement clay grout, water glass grout could be added while necessary. The engineering quality was determined by drilling coring, water pressure test and surface wave detection.

Abstract:The paper introduced the engineering case of slope treatment with SNS active flexible protective system in Xiashishan slope by National Highway 310 and described the design plan and construction technology of the system. Abstract:It was found that bionic coupling bits have higher drilling efficiency than ordinary drill bits by study. On the one hand, bionic coupling bits with higher pressure on the bottom lip surface; on the other hand, it improves the cooling condition. So it has a good prospect in drilling engineering. In this paper, the numerical simulation software ansys was used to analyze the impact of the convex and non-smooth surface on the performance of diamond bit. Comparison was made on the process of drill bits sliding friction on the rock surface with certain pressure under 4 different non-smoothness conditions. Analysis was made mainly on the variation of rock’s equivalent stress, contact friction stress and contact pressure on the bottom lip surface of bit. The convex and non-smooth surface can increase the service life and drilling efficiency of drill bit.
