Abstract:The importance of drilling mud cooling is explained in terms of the storage temperature and pressure of gas hydrate. The structure, operational principle and design process of the mud cooling system for gas hydrate drilling are introduced with the field experiment. Of the system in the Chinese permafrost zone gas hydrate drilling. The experiment has proved that this system completely met the design requirements and for the first time successfully recovered the gas hydrate sample in the permafrost zone of the QinghaiTibetan plateau.

Abstract:The paper introduced the double channel parallel wells about the trajectory design, application purpose, problems encountered in the first application and the countermeasures with the case of H022UA well in Beypazari natural alkali mine of Turkey. Abstract:It is very difficult in the coalfield drilling process because rather complex strata are usually encountered; such as breaking layer, collapsing layer and hydration expansive layer. Heavy density and low filtration drilling fluid system were developed with antisloughing, inhibiting and proper density. Field application proves that the drilling fluid system can perfectly maintain borehole stability and effectively inhibit the hydration expansion of mud stone and shale with the accident rate in wireline coring drilling decreased.

Abstract:The geological conditions are very complex at the Second Coal Mine in Fuyuan County, Yunnan: the upper thick layer of limestone of the Yongning Town group is broken with falling stones and serious leaks, and cavities are also developed; while the lower coal stratum consisting mostly of water sensitive formation, such as mudstone, muddy siltstone, carbonaceous mudstone, is susceptible to hydrate expansion, contraction, and collapse, increasing the difficulty in borehole wall protection. Taking these factors into account, a solidfree drilling fluid with LG plant colloid is used to drill through a 6m thick coal without collapse against circulation loss, leading to good protection, and economical, safe, and fast completion of the well.

Abstract:At the present, the work of deep minerals exploration in the second space is playing an important role in Geoexploration. In the exploration process, we must not only focus on applying the new theories and technologies of physic, chemistry and remote sensing in our field, but should also pay more attention to drilling technology to confirm the correctness of deduction and detection. Higher requirements on the key drilling technology and the equipment have been put forward with the prospecting depth increasing. From now on, the deep exploration is the primary work of the Geoexploration in China; based on the situation of prospecting equipment and construction technology, this paper discussed some attentions in equipment selection and the supporting construction technology.

Abstract:In dewatering near multiple subway tunnels sensitive to ground subsidence and displacement, recharge measures are often taken to control the confined water. In such a case, it is necessary to overcome hazards caused by the confined water, such as water inrush, and also reduce the harm to the surrounding building (structures). This paper discusses the ultra-deep foundation dewatering technology based on the successful case of Shanghai Shanda dewatering recharge works close to Metro line 2, 4, and 9.

Abstract:In respect of the coring difficulties, such as high circulation loss, low stability, encountered in observatory borehole drilling in loose backfilled rubbles with many cavities and high osmosis at the TALEGHAN Reservoir project in IRAN, a solid-free, non-dispersible. Drilling fluid is concocted with the KL vegetable colloid as the main additive, which, combined with sealing agents, has achieved good results at site. The composition of the KL colloid, properties of the drilling fluid and the sealing effectiveness are described, providing some experience for drilling in similar conditions.

Abstract:The double-fluid grouting is a type of the static pressure grouting. By the fast setting of the cement slurry and the accelerating agent in the formation pore and crack, the water-permeable proof of foundation soil is increased and the disadvantageous of sand flow and seepage are controlled. The double-fluid grouting was applied in the serious leakage part of water-proof curtain project in a pump room in Dalian with good effect of anti-seepage and waterproofing.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of short coring sample with skirt of φ89mm reverse circulation bit, numerical simulation analysis was made on the breaking process with finite element software ANSYS. According to the analysis results, reasonable design scheme was put forward. The further analysis was made on the new bit with finite element numerical simulation and the comparative analysis and indoor experiment on the original design were carried out. The results indicate that the optimized bit has longer, complete coring sample without skirt.

Abstract:Lithology changes obviously in volcanic strata and the physic mechanics character of rock differs a lot. Corresponding diamond bit parameters are selected according to the physic mechanics character of rock, the service life and drilling efficiency can be greatly improved with good drilling effect and economic benefit. Abstract:Coring drilling is an important method of geological exploration and most of the workplaces locate in suburb district or open country; while drilling rig, drilling tower and the subsidiary pieces are almost made of metal, and the drilling equipments are protruding on the ground, which are subjected to lightning attacks. In the drilling operation, most exploration teams do not pay enough attention to lightning strike protection; there are some problems in application and installation of lightning strike protection facilities.
