Abstract:The current situation and the level of technique development in a disciplinary field can be reflected by its periodical literature. Based on the statistics on published papers in Exploration Engineering (Rock & Soil Drilling and Tunneling) from 2006~2010, analysis was made on the present situation of periodical literature in the field of exploration engineering in one side, comparing with the periodical literature of other disciplinary fields, selfinadequacy and shortcoming were found out to improve the integrative qualigy and the level of periodical literature in exploration engineering and promote the academic influence.

Abstract:The loose, broken, collapsed and watersensitive formations are often encountered while drilling in the sedimentary formations, which were mainly dealt with cement sealing and casing cementing in the past with high drilling cost, low efficiency and great labor intensity in the past. Along with the appearance and development of non-solid drilling fluid technology, effective solutions are provided to overcome difficulties in sedimentary rock drilling. The paper introduced the research on nonsolid drilling fluid technology and its application effect in complex sedimentary formation drilling by application example.

Abstract:With the collection of the prophase data and the hole deviation problem, the paper introduced the formation situation and orebody features of Sunjiazhuang mining area in Shanxi. Analysis was made on the hole deviation and the causes with the summary on change of borehole deviation and the features in this mining area. The borehole structure, drilling tool grading, case selection, primary directional drilling and deviation prevention measures were described. The drilling construction effect showed that the primary directional drilling and deviation prevention measure were feasible and reasonable.

Abstract:The geological structure is complex in Jiakui coalfield with fractured rocks, loose cementation, frequent formations changing and fault fracture zone, so there are the problems such as many downhole accidents, low coring rate and low drilling efficiency. By the wire-line coring hydro-hammer technology, these technical difficulties were solved with less auxiliary time, improved drilling efficiency and coring rate and the borehole quality was ensured.

Abstract:DP6 well is a long horizontal well in Daniudi gas field, its designed kickoff point was at 2510.00m depth, drilling with average building up rate of 4.85°/30m to target A in φ311.15mm borehole, and penetrating the target strata at 3033.05m depth with increasing angle to underlie coal seam. Upregulating the vertical depth of target point and sidetracking were adopted to avoid coal seam collapse. The paper analyzed sidetracking technology, selection of sidetracking point, trajectory adjusting for sidetracking, difficulties in large hole deviation sidetrack drilling and the relative technical measures; and introduced the drill assembly and construction of sidetracking.

Abstract:This article describes common accidents of geothermal well surface casing in Beijing with the handling technology by 2 successful cases. One is the break at thread connections of geothermal well surface casing; the other is the pulling scrach in the wall of geothermal well surface casing. Abstract:Cementing protection is a common method of borehole wall protection in solid core drilling, but it is not an easy process at the same time. According to the slurry performance and its fluidity in the borehole, analysis and comparison were made with practical grouting experience in ZK3901. It was concluded that when different grouting method and slurries with different water-cement ratio were applied at different hole depth, the wall protection effects were different also.

Abstract:The necessities of drilling and sampling in soft coal and CBM in China and the special requirements for sampling tools are put forward. Based on the summary on the techniques of improving recovery rate and coring quality, the paper described and analyzed the structure of new drilling tool for soft coal and gas drilling. Coal sampling tools should have the functions of single action, advance, exclusion of water, anti-vibration and thread off prevention; and besides, gas sampling tools shoule have more functions of sealing, freezing and gas collecting.

Abstract:The low drilling efficiency in medium hard rock construction for coal bed gas hole, mine vent, cable openings and holes and water source well; high drilling cost in water shortage area, water encounter collapsing and diameter shrinkage were all overcome by using RD20Ⅱ drill and air downhole hammer drilling technology. Based on the introduction of structure characteristics of RD20Ⅱ drill and QL series of downhole hammer, the paper summed up some problems in air downhole hammer drilling with solving thoughts and measures.

Abstract:In the caisson protection engineering for a heavy punch in Changchun tractor factory, because of the former improper underground dewatering measures, the workshop wall cracking and collapsing occurred. By the serious analysis and study, a treatment plan of comprehensive treatment with dewatering, water injection, underpinning and deformation observation were made, the uneven settlement was effectively controlled with successful caisson lowering. Through the observation and comprehensive evaluation, the technology showed its good effect. The paper introduced the comprehensive treatment technology in this caisson protection engineering.

Abstract:The lateral shift was found in the 2-4 spans of a bridge position with cracks even fracture after a bridge construction and rectification and consolidation must be made without demolishing the bridge. Abstract:Large amount of wastewater is discharged to the ground surface in coal mining with environment pollution. Large-diameter recharge well and water decontamination plant are constructed to solve the problem. After the treatment, part of mine drainage is used in coal production and the rest is injected into the ground through recharge well to realize water resource cyclic and energy-saving & emission reduction. With the project case of Wutongzhuang mine, the water decontamination and recharge treatment are introduced.
