Abstract:In this article some technical questions, such as casing program, drilling tools and their match relation and cementing for the drilling operation of ultra-deep geological core hole have been discussed. The influence of these technical factors on the risk and economics of drilling operation of ultra-deep geological core holes are analyzed. On the basis of analytical study, proposals on the casing program, drilling tool match relation, ultra-deep drill string and casing string schemes and cementing program for the drilling of ultra-deep geological core holes are put forward.

Abstract:In view of the complex situations of application environment and force condition of DTH hammer drilling with eccentric simultaneous casing, different boundary conditions and loads were set by the finite element models of DTH hammer drilling in the formation, and DTH hammer drilling simulation was made by the finite element software ANSYSY 12.0. Analysis was made on the stress-strain of the drilling tool in working conditions. Based on the simulation analysis and according to the drilling stress, theoretical basis for the design and optimization of DTH hammer drilling tool in structure rationality was provided.

Abstract:Based on the existing well groups and production pipelines, the Phase III well layout of Beypazari trona solution mining project fully makes use of the existing conditions. The Phase III well groups consist of several kinds of optimized well units, such as three-well units, five-well units, side parallel well units and some other complicated well units. Phase III design can highly improve the production of mining project and meet the demands of brine output in trona plant with the advantages of lower investment, shorter construction period and easier management. Totally 15 leaching units with 25 leaching passages are designed and distributed in the mining area of Phase III.

Abstract:According to the difficulties of deep hole drilling in Nanping mining area, study was made on the wall protection and leakage stoppage, improving drilling efficiency in sliding formation and coring in complex formation. Abstract:The paper summed up the coring drilling experience in complex formation of poly-metallic miming area in Song County and emphatically introduced the comprehensive treatment measures of quartz grinding method for diamond bit slipping; drilling with simultaneous casing in weathered layer; different size casing for hole protection; wall cementing; 801 LCM, plant gum and sawdust for leaking stoppage. The construction cost was lowered and drilling efficiency was improved by these technical measures.

Abstract:The paper presents the construction technology of deep hole drilling in complex strata in Xingshan phosphate mine of Hubei province. The bit and drilling technology parameters were properly chosen for drilling in the complex strata. High quality drilling fluid was used in fractured hole section drilling with case for hole wall stability, cementing was used in serious collapsing and block-falling sections and wire-line coring tools and XY-5 type driller were used to complete 1930 m deep hole in complex strata.

Abstract:Drilling machine does a lot of negative work in sending drilling pipes down into the well. Nearly all the potential energy of the drilling pipe converts into the huge thermal energy of the hydraulic system. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the process of energy conversion and heat radiation. This paper analyzes the complete process, proposes a heat radiation function of the hydraulic system with the arithmetic progression heat importation and validates the rational selection of radiator with measured and calculated data.

Abstract:The composite supporting technology combining the soil-nailing wall with pile-anchor system was used in a deep foundation pit supporting engineering with excavation depth of 19.7 m in Beijing, and the supporting effect is very good. The typical supporting form was studied by the method of three-dimensional numerical simulation with finite difference, and the result showed the work mode and force mechanism of the soil-nailing wall and force coordination process of slope protection pile and anchor bolt in pile-anchor retaining. Comparative analysis was made on the measured data of foundation pit slope displacement and retaining structure force, which can provide scientific guidance to the development and design of the deep foundation pit composite supporting technology.

Abstract:In the paper, 3 calculation methods of the combined retaining structure of soil nailing and pile-anchor are discussed, analysis was made on each advantages and disadvantages. 3 methods were taken for a specific assumptive engineering case, the calculation contrast indicated that the finite element numerical analysis is the closest to the actual, which can be applied to aided design.

Abstract:Phreatic and confined water always are major objects for engineering dewatering in foundation pit excavation, but the groundwater in aeration zone is usually being neglected. The practice proved that the influence of the groundwater in aeration zone should be paid enough attention. By the analysis, the influence of aeration zone in low cohesive soil on foundation pit engineering was discussed in this paper, and an improved method of light well-point dewatering was put forward to drain perched water with low cost and good effect.

Abstract:Whether to use the seawater to compound the slurry, what materials and treatment agent should be applied and the reasonable application of slurry indices are the important factors for bored grouting pile construction in coastal shoal. Through the comparison of several kinds of slurry material and the optimization of the slurry proportion, analysis was made on the feasibility of bentonite slurry compounded with seawater. With the construction case of bored pile in 2nd blast furnace in Caofeidian, the paper briefly introduced the successful application of bentonite seawater slurry and illustrated the construction control method.

Abstract:Plastic drainage board is widely used in soft foundation consolidation for dike, road, dock, sluice, etc. It was used to drain the water in the foundation in order to increase the effective stress in soil particles to accelerate the consolidation settlement of the foundation and improve the strength. Abstract:Reinforced support was made for the side wall, altered rock and large fault of the main engine compartment, main transformer room and bus cavern in underground powerhouse of Jinping 1 hydropower station by the horizontal pre-stressed anchor. Abstract:In order to effectively protect the groundwater resources and rationally exploit mineral resources, curtain grouting is the main method for water control in mine. But in the cave development section, because of strong permeability and large grouting volume, it is difficult to come up to the grouting finished standard. According to the cave features of curtain grouting engineering in zhongguan iron mine, caves were divided into different categories; on the basis of the test, grouting adding materials were chosen. The paper theoretically introduced caves grouting method and transformation process of slurry spreading from “pipe flow” to “seepage” with field operation description.

Abstract:The Yuanba area in northeast of Sichuan is a key area for natural gas exploration in China. But the complicated geological structure, low penetration rate and long construction period, especially at the bottom of Ziliujing formation and Xujiahe formation, have always been the bottleneck restricting drilling speed in this area. According to the formation characteristics, diamond bits with different structures and properties were developed. The experiments showed good effects in the blade cutter and second insert bits matching with the domestic PDM. The drilling rate was improved with lower cost and shorter time.

Abstract:Based on Yangpaijian tunnel of Huangqunan highway, this paper introduces construction technologies of more than 30 meters ultra long pipe shed, and comparatively analyses the different pipe shed construction for left and right route by the site-monitored data. The results show that one-time construction of ultra long pipe shed can be effectively applied in weak surrounding rock of mountain tunnel.

Abstract:At present, the search for existing or past life in the universe is one of the most important objectives of international society. Instruments USDC that are driven by an ultrasonic/sonic actuator are developed for rock, ice and soil probing and sampling to conduct in-situ astrobiology analysis. Through the use of an intermediate free-mass, this mechanism is driven by an ultrasonic piezoelectric actuator that impacts a bit at sonic frequencies. Ultrasonic/sonic driller/corer (USDC) can deliver both core and rock cuttings. This paper mainly introduces USDC about the advantages, the mechanism and the property; and discusses the lunar exploration project and future deep space exploration.
