Abstract:Soil arching effect is the basis for retaining piles.In this paper,FEM is first used in the study of stress and deformation for a real soil arch,and then based on it,stress and deformation condition behind retaining piles for deep pit is analyzed.The soil behind retaining piles can be divided into 3 region:(1) the region under soil arch,(2) soil arching region,(3) uniform stress zone in crown arch.In region(1),the maximum principal stress is tensile stress;the stress state in region(2) is the same with that of the real soil arch.The boundary of these 3 regions is studied.The influence on the structure of soil arching region by loading and clear space of retaining piles is also discussed.

Abstract:The monitoring data of one subway foundation pit engineering in shanghai was analyzed in detail and the possible reasons of the potential accident were primarily discussed. The result shows that the building overloading has prominent influences on the deformation of the foundation pit, and that the deformation of the building and foundation pit has the characters of simultaneity and suddenness, which can give some reference for the similar engineering works.

Abstract:Considering the engineering geology,hydrogeology and environmental conditions in the site of Sciences & Education Building deep foundation pit project of Wuhan No.2 Hospital,the single-pipe high-pressure jet grouting method was adopted to prevent underwater from flowing into foundation pit.The process was depicted in details.The practice proves that this method successfully stopped the flow of upper stagnant water.During excavation,no seepage occurs,which facilitated the subsequent construction.And it also proves that single-pipe high-pressure jet grouting method is very suitable for water-prevention and reinforcement of foundation pit in urban areas because of its convenience of construction,low cost and no need for excavation.

Abstract:The in-water main piers of Sanmenjiang Bridge are elevated pile caps that were constructed by steel hoisting box cofferdams. Simple steel reinforced pile with tensile and compressive strength was taken as hanging parts of hoisting box. It is easy to operate and can lower the construction cost, so this technology deserves to be popularized.

Abstract:Based on the experiment research,it was compared that the inorganic polymer silicate with organic polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol(PVA),partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(PHPA),polyacrylamide(PAM) and kalium polyacrylate on the capability of instability prevention.The conclusion was drawn as following from the experiment.Firstly,the velocity of the film forming by adsorption and density of the protective foil were the key factors to determine the IPC(instability prevention capability) of the drilling fluid systems;secondly,the IPC of the drilling fluid systems was the result of synergistic action of the inorganic and organic polymers;thirdly,the IPC of PHPA drilling fluid system was better than PAM drilling fluid;finally,the addition of Na-CMC and PHPA could increase the density of the adsorbed film and improve the IPC of the system.

Abstract:Combination of flexible deviation correction and prevention drilling tools can control the increase of deviation of the drilling well effectively while the rate of penetration(ROP) is increased,and can decrease the deviation also.It provides us a new type of the combination of drilling tools for the big inclination angle and hard stratum area,in which deviation is very easy to be encountered during drilling.In this paper,we introduce the mechanism of deviation correction and prevention of the combination of these flexible drilling tools;meanwhile,analyze the mechanical model of this type of drilling tools,then put forward the deviation correction and prevention drilling technical measure.

Abstract:Technique of well logging by directional scanning image means scanning the wall of a well according to the given direction,and makes the wall of a well be unfolded to a continuous plane.Common ultrasonic imaging well logging instruments make the strongest magnetic north signal of terrestrial magnetic field as the starting point of scanning trigger signal,which can neither work in the condition of magnetic shielding or magnetic interference,nor ascertain the location of geologic information.However,by taking gyro-positioning technique to locate artificial magnetic field,the ultrasound image produced by measurement processing,where AC(Alternating Current) signal is induced by rotated coils in the artificial magnetic field as the triggering signal for image scanning,we can quickly and accurately ascertain the fault spot and the damage scale and location of well pipes,so as to provide the reliable basis for making maintenance plan.
