Abstract:With the development of urban construction, underground space is developed and exploited largely and excavation engineering is widely used. Compared with other support patterns, SMW is more economically potential with many advantages, such as large wall thickness,great depth, good impermeability and environmental protection performance. In this paper, formed steel, antifriction material, characteristic of soil-cement, combination of SMW engineering method and design calculating method are analyzed and summarized. Based on the above, the future of SMW is prospected.

Abstract:The technique of soilnailing wall is widely applied in Beijing, and the composite support technique for soil-nailing wall and pre-stressed anchor can efficiently control the deformation. Abstract:In plateau ever-frozen ground region with harsh climate and vulnerable ecological environment, various conditions of frozen soil layer bring difficulties to the construction of cast-in-place pile. To be up to the related standard of qualification, safety and environment protection, kinds of calamity initiated by the distortion, intensity weakness, cold expansion and melting breakdown caused by the frozen soil must be managed to prevent and remove. Construction technology of cast-in-place pile used for Buqu River is detailed. It is obviously different from normal technology used in land but effective in plateau ever-frozen ground and it can be referred to construction in similar geological conditions.

Abstract:The present status and prospect of mineral exploration drilling market in China were summarized, and also the advantages and disadvantages and the comprehensive efficiencies of the conventional spindle drills and the fully-hydraulic top-drive head drills were discussed. Abstract:PDC drill bit manufactured by infiltration process with vibration does not work effectively in cobble interbed, a new type of PDC bit was developed because of the characteristics of high hardness, interbed, inhomogeneity and high abrasiveness. The structure of bit crown is of outside parabola-inside cone features with auxiliary cutting edges; and PDC is of non-plane, that is, multi groove binding has been adopted. According to the new design, 3 bits were produced and to be tried in 3 wells separately. It shows drilling efficiency increased by 26%, and the new type of PDC bit has advantages in drilling cobble formation.
