Abstract:The bottom of basement of Super High-rise Buildings B5-4~7, which are the part of Guangzhou Taojinyuan, was located on completely weathering and strongly weathering powder sandstones. According to the results of soil press test, the shallow base which is on the top of natural or complex foundations was adopted in design. Because of putting experiment, design, work into a very closed link, as well as the method of work is trustworthy, it has been the succeed case of super high-rise building in Guangzhou City. The experiment conditions, design conceptions, project main points and application results were introduce.

Abstract:The deformation performance of support wall for foundation pits was analyzed based on the practice of a station on Shanghai Subway Line M8. It was found that the pit displacement can be reduced obviously during the excavation of pits by decreasing appropriate amount of excavation space and time every step and by shortening free exposure time of pit’s wall, making use of tau-effect laws. The goals of controlling pit deformation scientifically can be reached by using the laws of tau-effect while excavating the foundation pits and sufficiently stimulating the potential self control of deformation of soft soil.

Abstract:The determination of extreme limit of anti-lifting bearing capacity is an important content for pile’s anti-lifting research. When the load of anti-lifting pile does not reach the disrupt load, the forecast of extreme limit of anti-lifting pile’s bearing capacity by function model of extrapolation is significant in both theory and practice, according to the known load-displacement data. The extreme limit of anti-lifting bearing capacity was successfully forecasted out by hyperbola model, exponent model and power function model, using the imitation functions of curves of Grapher 4 and taking project cases as a base. The comparison of the results of three function models shown that the exponent model has higher forecast precision.

The paper also expounds the effect of bored pile’s posterior grouting with a case study. Abstract:A kind of steal body PDC repair technique was introduced. At first, confirm if the steal body PDC bit which has been already used can be repaired. Then, after pretreated to the bit that qualified to repair, heating it at the speed of 8~10 ℃/min, while heating to about 620 ℃, the solder flux which welded the cutters begins to melt, then take down the PDC cuts, put them to 600 ℃ solder flux to keep warm for use. At last, utilize surface hard facing technique to repair the bit. The on-the-spot test proved that there is no obvious difference on the bit quality between the bits after repair and the new one. For example, repairing a piece of 12(1/4) in steel body bit can economize the cost at least 41400 Yuan RMB. Economic benefits are obvious.

By application of this drilling fluid, drilling engineers dealt with the leakage problems successfully in Xinjiang and it has a bloom application in west part of China where is short of water.
