Abstract:The gray time-varying parameters model of unequal interval is built to avoid the faults of classical gray model, following the information handling principle of the gray theory and leading a forgetting factor into the model to correct the prediction results. In the model, both time-varying property and the correcting effect of the forgetting factor are considered, so the prediction error is smaller. The case study shows that the error of finishing settlement can be controlled within 23% by the Gray TVP Model. As a result, the error checking indicates the precision grade is updated after prediction results is corrected by the forgetting factor.

Abstract:This paper calculates the consolidation degree by using the theory of three-dimensional consolidation and taking account of the monitoring test results of pore pressure dissipation. It is proved that they are practical by contrasting with each other. In addition, according to equation of calculating consolidation degree, it can calculate ultimate settlement and predict the time when settlement is stable by contrary. It has important leading purpose to put forward the time of unloading.

Abstract:How to determine the length of power-injected pile is a important problem in practical project. Considering the complex special distribution of soft earth stratums in fact, the length of pile by prospecting will be unsatisfied to the requirement of improvement. The author participated in a project of improvement of soft ground by power-injected pile, put forward controlling the length of pile by the intensity of working current, put it in practice and succeeded considerable technical and economic benefits. The experimental data and conclusion from engineering project is valuable to similar projects.
