Abstract:The geological conditions are complicated and groundwater is rich under Qingzhou Dianzi Iron Mine which is planned to be developed. That seriously affects the mining of iron ore. The border of water block curtain, water block depth, water block materials were determined after scientific analyses on hydrology and geology condition and some geophysical survey. The drilling techniques and grouting procedures were optimized. The problems occurred during construction were researched and resolved. The task of water block within mine area was successfully completed.

Abstract:The geological conditions under Yichun City Audit Bureau Compartment Building are very complicated. Determination of proper load bearing layer of formation is key to foundation design. After evaluation and analyses on the formation conditions and existing local experiences as well as new pile foundation technology, the load bearing layer of piles were courageously put on the detritus soil layer which is unconsolidated, character various greatly and bearing capacity low. Bottom enlargement of bored piles was adopted to enhance the bearing capacity. Post grouting was used to reinforce the bottom of piles. The practice verified that the alternative was technically feasible and economical.

Abstract:Application of combination of slop shield piles, soil block wall, pre-stressed anchor, pressure grouting, especially the combination of soil block wall and pile anchor, changed the conventional design consideration of controlling deformation by rigidity pivot. Using elasticity pivot method to design the slop shield piles and anchor within the limitation of deformation permission has greatly deduced the cost of project, and ensured the security, reliability and economy of pit support system. The design, main technical measures, and several conclusions of the project method mentioned above were also introduced.

Abstract:The idea that the margin slop stability problems caused by excavation should be put attentions when make construction near by the slops and dyke was put forward based on project practice of slop improvement in excavation of Longze Garden in Xiangshan County. That the pre-stressed anchor cable with frame beam is an efficient method to improve the slops when the slops are steep and the places are limited was also brought forward.

Abstract:When small powered rotary rigs drill in mudstone,shale and big particle gravel with a diameter of 1,500mm for bored piles, the conventional inserted rock screw bits often present themselves slow penetration or even no penetration due to the rig's small power and small WOB. Through analyses on these problems occurred during bored pile construction for new plant building of Wanxi Pharmacy Limited Company in Xixia County, Henan, pertinent improvement measures were put forward and the good results were got.

Abstract:In recent years the impact that environmental change put on human living space becomes more and more significant. And the most valuable evidence recording the environmental change is the sediments under the lakes and reservoirs etc. The key technology of getting these sediments is freezing sampling technique. It is very important to analyze environmental change states, environmental pollution mechanism and to seek effectively measures for environmental protection. The principium and technology and caution of operation are mainly introduced in the paper.

Abstract:This paper expounded the development and application in tunnel construction all over the world of TBM in the past half a century, pointed out that excavating tunnel by TBM has become the developmental direction of tunnel construction in the future. On the base of analysis of a great deal engineering example, combining the experience and lessons obtained in TBM construction, the authors discussed correlated engineering geological problems existing in excavation, such as fault fractured zones, compressional stratum, groundwater and karst etc.. At the same time, the corresponding countermeasures particularly for reference were introduced.

Abstract:Authors Base on elastic-plastic wall rock of theory, apply ANSYS FEM software, and adopt Drucker-Prager rules. FEM numerical simulation is used to analyze different shapes′hole, by means of the analysis of radial displacement and stress, even more distinctly realize the status of wall rock of hole ,to help the architect to confirm hole's shape, and avoid to the bad stability of shape; at the same time to be able to instruct the design of supporting structure.
