Abstract:Based on the in-situ investigation results for the storey-addition of Siping-Building, the engineering geological problems relate liquefaction of sandy soils and the settlements of an existed building caused by the storey-addition activities have been discussed. Results show that the long-time load of buildings is very useful for the increasing of both the strength of sub-soils and the anti-seism ability of sandy sub-soils.

Abstract:Rig “Salt Lake Explore 1” was developed on the basis of the features of salt lake in Tibet. The peculiarities of the equipment and its application in First Scientific Investigation in Qiangbei depopulated zone of Tibet and in 2002 were introduced. The equipment was further modified being directed against the existing problems in application so that made it better suit the survey under the adverse conditions of waters, tidal-flat area, marsh, hard land, anoxia plateau and so on. It displayed superior performances in salt lake survey in Tibet in 2003 after its modification.

Abstract:Erosion and encrustation universally exists in steel casing which is used in medium depth geothermal well. Primary study was conducted on erosion and encrustation of steel casing used in Henan geothermal wells. Indoor tests were made with different materials and under different water temperatures. The measurement was made by down well colored TV. Suggestion on reduction of erosion and encrustation of steel casings was put forwards.

Abstract:The performances of superfine Fe-Co-Cu pre-alloyed powder SFP were tested, measured and analyzed. The sintered temperature of the powder decreased to 700 ℃, high relative density of fusion was proved to be 97%, in addition high hardness and abrasion resistance was achieved. The examination showed that the powder had less differ in size and better oxidation resistance than ultra-fine cobalt powder. Blending with other powder, different hardness and erosion resistance property could be achieved. In conclusion the pre-alloyed powder can match with the foreign products.
