Abstract:Of the stability analyses of embankment reinforced by geo-synthetic material, the traditional Sweden slice method obviously owes its conservation to the misunderstanding of reinforcement mechanism of geo-synthetic material. Deep studies of the failure and reinforcement mechanism of geo-synthetic material show that the reinforcement effects of geo-synthetic material were considerably underestimated. Therefore, a new stability analysis method of embankment reinforced by geo-synthetic material, called modification of Sweden slice method, is presented by modifying the assumption of reinforcement effects. The in-situ case demonstrates the presented method is effective and practical.

Abstract:Focusing on design of nozzle—the crucial element of boring hydraulic mining, the test data were analyzed and researched based on the experiments of small diameter nozzles. The nozzle design conception was brought forward. The patterns and types of nozzle were selected. Different alternatives for boring hydraulic mining were proposed on the characteristics of various formations. The rock broken mechanism and broken ability of water jet under the high pressure submerged down the hole were studied.

Abstract:在工程勘察施工中使用SH30-A型钻机,在钻进较为困难的情况下钢丝绳容易被突然拉断,冲击锤落入孔中,这种事故常发生在孔深10m以深。笔者根据勘察工作经验,提出一些打捞冲击锤的技巧。(1)吊钩的设计。为增大吊钩钩住卸扣的概率,应尽量减小吊钩的曲度。吊钩附近绑绳应尽量使2个绳卡的螺母朝一个方向。否则,由于吊钩附近钢丝绳的弯曲,吊钩的活动范围就会受到限制,甚至由于吊钩附近钢丝绳的弯曲,吊钩及其附近的钢丝绳会顶到钻孔的两壁上,造成打捞困难。吊钩的数量以2个为宜。一方面可以增大打捞成功的概率,另一方面,由于钻孔微小

Abstract:This paper presents four kinds of direction controllable trenchless techniques for pipeline installation. The principle of these techniques, including controllable impact moling, horizontal drilling with controllable pneumatic hammer, soil displacement pilot hole drilling technique and soil displacement micro-tunneling, is that the soils are displaced to the hole wall rather than removed to the ground surface during construction.
