Abstract:Underwater blastholes had been drilled under the Songhua River during the freezing season in the Northeast. The drilling equipment and operation platform are described. Depending on different formations, the static pressure vibration method was used to sink casings for hole wall protection and the DTH drilling method was employed. The air circuit system was designed with the casing connection method improved. The scientific management method was carried out. These resulted in fairly good effects.
