Application practice of multi-process high-efficiency air drilling technology in geothermal well construction

Abstract:

The multi-process air drilling technology has become an effective method for the development and utilization of deep geothermal and groundwater resources. It not only offers excellent protection for geothermal reservoirs， but also has advantages such as high drilling efficiency， low cost， and no pollution. Based on years of production practice， this paper describes the multi-process air drilling technology and its equipment used in geothermal well construction， as well as the combined application of pneumatic down-the-hole hammer drilling and air-lift reverse circulation drilling technologies， along with the favorable results achieved in practice.
