    Abstract:

    With the deepening of green development concepts, traditional green exploration techniques can no longer fully meet the current demands for environmental protection and harmonious exploration. Taking the geological and mineral exploration in Guizhou Province as an example, this paper addresses prominent issues such as vegetation destruction, groundwater pollution, and noise disturbance, proposing a series of technical countermeasures for green exploration drilling. Through systematic pre-drilling assessments, inclined hole layouts optimizition, “one-hole multi-branch” and “one-base multi-hole” techniques, geophysical detection of karst caves, and the application of high-efficiency electric drilling rigs, challenges such as forest land occupation, water source protection, carbon emissions, and noise pollution have been effectively resolved. Practical applications demonstrate that these technologies significantly reduce environmental disturbances, improve exploration efficiency, and achieve a win-win outcome for both economic and ecological benefits. However, current shortcomings such as outdated equipment and insufficient funding persist. Future efforts should focus on promoting the “group-hole” exploration model and the “geology-engineering integration” approach to further advance the innovation and application of green exploration technologies.
