Drilling Technology in WFSD-2 of Wenchuan Earthquake Fault Scientific Drilling Project

Abstract:

This paper introduces the key drilling technology used in WFSD-2, including half-open core barrel coring technology, moving casing technology, down hole motor coring technique and drilling fluid technology. Several major accident management processes are summarized also.
