Application of Water Injection on Testing Permeability Coefficient of Foundation for Liye Embankment

Abstract:

In order to confirm the boulder foundation permeability of Liye embankment, the spot boring water injection was adopted to test permeability coefficient from fifteen hole segments in five sections. The test results show that the permeability coefficients of embankment foundation are generally big, and different in each spot on the same section. The permeability coefficient of front slope path of 1+070 section is four times that of back slope path, and the coefficient of front slope path of 1+470 section is ten times that on the axle.
