Research on Deep Hole Wire Line Core drilling Tech. in Complicated Stratum

Abstract:

Inner upsetting technology for thin wall drilling pipes was used in Series SQ high strength wire line drilling pipes. The strength of drilling pipes was increased 40% by optimizing joint thread parameters, improving heat treatment and surface treatment techniques and simplifying structure. The life of the drilling pipes was obviously increased. The pressure drop through the drilling pipes was decreased. A good result was gained in complicated geology conditions.
