Flow Distribution Analyses and Structure Optimization of Reverse Circulation Bits on Structure of Hollow Air Hammer

Abstract:

The hydrodynamics calculation software is introduced in brief. The principle and procedures of using the software to analyze the flow distribution around inner and outer surfaces of core bits are expounded in details. After simulating and analyzing the flow field around the GQ-89 percussion coring bit, we design the reverse circulation optimized structural parameter of the bits, then get the satisfactory results.
