Analysis of Mechanic Properties of Formation Inclination and Countermeasure of Straight and Fast Drilling in Santanghu Basin

Abstract:

The paper delves theoretically into the effects of formation forces, drilling parameter and borehole assembly on well quality. Based on drilling case in Santanghu Basin, the mechanic properties of formation inclination in the area are analyzed. The optimum plate of drill string assembly and drilling parameter is made. There’s much in this plate that can make use of straight and fast drilling in Santanghu Basin.
