Balanced Drilling Process with Foam Mud

Abstract:

Considering the severe circulation loss during drilling in water well with the deep water table, the feasibility of application of balanced drilling with foam mud of extra low density to water well drilling with the deep water table is proposed. The foam mud balanced drilling principle and process are discussed. The application of the process in water well drilling in Qian County, Shanxi is briefly introduced.
