    Abstract:

    The paper analyses the factors which influence the surveying precision of the common borehole deviation instrument. It suggests a technical method of applying the principle of mathematical statistics should be used to clear up the system error and reduce the random error. Application results demonstrate that borehole trajectory can be accurately controlled using ordinary instrument by introducing the method and the method is reliable.
