Design of Load Sensor for PDC Cutting Elements in the Confined Circular Conditions

Abstract:

he measurement method of loads (axial, cutting and side loads )exerted on the cutting elementsin the confined conditions is described with corresponding load sensors developed. The water - proof problem ofthe sensors is solved; meanwhile, the effect of high pressure on load sensor accuracry is elimilated by use of theexperimental rating method.
