金刚石是电镀钻头主要的钻进和切削元件，其性能的好坏对钻头的工作效率和使用寿命有着直接的影响。要充分了解金刚石的性能，掌握并利用各种检测手段，才能合理选择出性价比高，又能满足钻头需要的金刚石。主要对金刚石的性能和检测方法以及电镀钻头中如何选用金刚石进行了介绍。

Abstract:

Diamond is the main drilling and cutting elements of electroplated bit, its properties have direct impacts on the working efficiency and the service life of drill bit. The full understanding of diamond properties and all kinds of detection means are necessary for reasonably selecting the diamond with high performance-price ratio to satisfy the requirements of bits. The paper mainly introduces the diamond properties, the detection means and how to select diamond.
