The article introduces the application of bracing of deep foundation pit in Chaoyang Square. The compound soil nailed wall and pre-stressed anchor rod was adopted for the upside and underside wall separately. Soil nailed wall was economical. And in the design, the third layer of soil nail wall was replaced with pre-stressed soil nail to effectively restrict the displacement of the top of soil nailed wall. Monitoring spot was laid on the top of soil nailed wall and the top of pile to measure distortion with theodolite, and all the data measured is in permitted scope of criterion.
